Supporting you in your parenting
In conjunction with The Churches of the Western Shore, Grange Life runs Parenting Matters Workshops. These are a series of six workshops hosted at local primary schools around the Grange and Henley area. The workshops are on various parenting topics with the aim of supporting parents in our community through education.
To make attending these workshops easier for parents and carers, we run children's programs for preschoolers and primary school aged children while you attend the workshop. All our volunteers are Working with Children certified.

What does ‘mis’behaviour tell us? With Mark Le Messurier
Join local teacher, counsellor, author and public speaker, Mark Le Messurier, at our next Parenting Matters Workshop on Wednesday 10 June from 6:30 pm at Fulham Gardens Primary School.
During the workshop, Mark helps parents build understanding around ‘mis’behaviour and respond in a way that actually works. Instead of reacting with frustration, you’ll learn how to stay calm, lead with confidence and keep the connection strong, even when your child is pushing back.
Mark introduces a simple, practical approach that looks beneath behaviour to the emotional need driving it. You’ll explore how to set boundaries and give consequences with respect, while building your child’s confidence and respect for others.
Bring the kids along to enjoy our FREE kids’ program - they’ll be able to create something with our craft activities and play games together, and for preschoolers we will have child minders ready to go! All our volunteers are Working with Children certified.
Snacks and supper are provided.
